The BariMelts Multivitamin provides all the essential nutrients found in a balanced diet including those vitamins and elements specifically mentioned in the ASMBS guidelines. The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) guidelines recommend that all patients take a multivitamin after weight-loss surgery to prevent any vitamin/trace element deficiencies which may arise with decreased food intake and absorption.
